Whats the worst that could happen ?

An interesting question arose today at first I was going to opt for the easy solution, the modern quick, shallow, single word answer that encourages as much thought out of the reader as I intended to give the questioner.
But then I relented, its thursday not the weekend yet, if I were generous today, tomorrow would seem so much rosier before it even began, I'd have credits !
And so I wrote :
Both arms and legs could be slowly (20 minutes) torn from your body, you could then watch helplessly as your blood pools around your chest.
Finally, when almost gratefully you think your demise is about to be completed, an ambulance arrives to witness your death. A pretty little nurse in a crisp white uniform kneels beside you in and starts to whisper sweet words like 'its okay we'll make you better' and 'hang on just a little longer' as they race your body parts to hospital.
Her perfume and soft seductive tones revive your inner spirit, once again your will to live resurfaces, no matter the state of your body you once again want to live.
As you arrive at the hospital your ambulance is met by an angry crowd of striking workers blockaiding the hospital for better working conditions, they allow you through slowly but tell you there are no beds, no doctors and no medicine. You die all over again, this time the nurse shares your pain, ashamed of herself for allowing you to suffer, the driver livid that politics could interfer with his chosen career to save people.
Deep down you know this is the end but something keeps you going. After 12 hours in hospital on life support, your wife still hasn't turned up, you can see a yellow envelope on the tray table beside you with a pen.
You remember the sequence of events that led you to this point, the torture was purpose built, the pain and suffering necessary to achieve your desired outcome. Finally you know she has agreed to a divorce, your wish to be free is a simple step away.
BUT you then understand the weakness of your plan, you have the pen and the paper but no hands to sign !
I suppose the questioner was genuine in his or her desire to get a ' just do it - life is too short ' answer but I feel I answered them properly !
