Im sitting here, in the basement. I never really sit down here anymore since getting my handy laptop. It's cold, dark and smells funny. Also, there is a moon sand everywhere, and I'm fighting the urge to get off my ass and clean it. Why? Because finally, FINALLY!!! I am going to play my new Sims expansion pack. I'm going to make fake people pee and I'm giddy with excitement!
I got the game on Wednesday. I mean, I HUNTED the game on Wednesday, dragging Jonny to two different games stores just to see if anyone had it out yet. Um no. They HAD them but they didn't have them out. Poop. I got the game Wednesday evening, and I was just to damn tired to play and Tony had to go to work, and the kids need someone upstairs wit them when they sleep. I had prepped myself for it, cleaning the house extra good (when I mean extra good, I mean, like actually hiding stuff, not just piling it in a corner) Then yesterday, I went to the gym again, and passed out around 5:30 only to have to rush around and make dinner at 6:15.
So, here I sit. I woke up this morning, and took the big kid to school, came home, had some breakfast, and cleaned up again really good. I've got a candle going and eveything. Had some lunch, fed my J man lunch. I have my laptop and an apple and a bottle of water, and I'm set to play Sims2 until my eyes burn, and I can't click the mouse anymore with my swollen fingers.
I love it!!

I'm trying to get myself turned into one of those green plant faerie chicks.
I won't be able to play at all for the next week, though. I'm going on a road trip and the SIMS stay home.
I named my sim Petal Elfwitch, the faerie name I got out of that faerie name quiz I posted a while back!

I like the EP so far, except one thing that is unexpected. The season keeps going!! I like to play each house in my neighborhood for three sims days. By the time I got one house set up with green house, and wenton to the other two houses, I got back and all her stuff had died, although she did get some oranges.
So, now I have to figure out how in the HECK I'm going to do this. I don't want to play each house for a WHOLE "year".
Teri, omg I used to do that when I used to work. Sit up all night and Id go in bleary eyed and crabby LOL

I only play one character at a time...obsessively, and it got me what I needed - Petal Elfwitch is now a plant person. She only requires sunlight, water, and love now, not food or sleep!!
I only stayed up playing all night because I had to swap my schedule around. I've got a ten hour drive tonight beginning at 2:00 a.m., so I stayed up all night, slept a bit during the day, and now I'll be wide awake for the trip!
Sandi... check the little manual under "lots" and it'll show you how to save each one before moving to play another lot. You can also check the game encyclopedia under "game options" for further instruction.
